Scotty Starks: IXW fans, welcome to IXW Saturday NIght! And, boy, do we have a full slate here for you tonight! Just last week, we all watched The Jester win the Solace of Sovereignty tournament to become the innaugural IXW Champion, and word backstage is that the new champ is here tonight! We've also been told that both general managers are here tonight, and both Mr. Hinders and Mr. Ewing have separate announcements to make live tonight on IXW Saturday Night! I'm joined here by my colleague, Rico Valenvuela. Rico, last weekend was a huge night for IXW, but tonight is the night that things really start to heat up!
Rico: Scotty, let me me tell you, the Solace of Sovereignty was fantastic from start to finish, and if what we are hearing buzz about tonight lives up to the hype, IXW fans will certainly not be disappointed. I just received word that Alan Hinders is on his way out here as we speak to deliver a bombshell. Let's head to the ring to see what he has in store for the IXW universe.
Alan: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for joining us here for IXW Saturday Night! Last week we set the pay-per-view world on fire with our debut event, Solace of Sovereignty. We can't even begin to tell you how grateful we are for your support; however, we can sure give it one heckuva shot! As my colleague, Jeremy Ewing, announced just a couple short weeks ago, our next pay-per-view event will feature a 20-man over-the-top battle royal to determine the first ever IXW Midwest Champion. Well, I am here tonight to add a little more insight into what's in store for this event. First and foremost, let me be the first to reveal to you all that the event will be called...
Alan: ...Miscreant Melee! Furthermore, the Melee will take place, ONE WEEK FROM TONIGHT!!! 20 IXW wrestlers will enter the ring one by one. Just as they enter, one by one, they will be eliminated by being thrown from the ring. Once a competitor is thrown over the top rope, and both of his feet have touched the canvas, he will be eliminated from competition. This will continue until we have only one survivor. That man will stand alone as the first ever IXW Midwest Champion! As if that weren't enough, there will be more news to soon follow on other contests scheduled for the Melee. Rico: The Miscreant Melee one week from tonight?! Scotty, two pay-per-views in just three weeks time?! This is absolutely insane! I can't even begin to describe how excited I am! Another IXW title belt on the line, and twent IXW combatants slugging it out to determine the new champion! This is incredible!
Scotty: Rico, if I know anything about Alan Hinders and Jeremy Ewing, it's that this isn't even the biggest news that they have in store for us! Alan Hinders just shocked the IXW world with a huge announcement, and all I can think about is what they haven't told us yet!!
Rico: Scotty, as if that excitement weren't enough, we're ready for our first match here tonight on IXW Saturday Night! Craig "The Croc" Wilson had some strong words for Boston Strong after their fatal four way match a couple weeks back. Here tonight, those two men will go head to head to settle the score! Let's head into the ring to the action!
Rico: Boston Strong with a stunning victory here tonight! Scotty, I thought The Croc has Strong as soon as he landed The Death Roll! Can you believe Strong kicked out after just a one count?!
Scotty: Boston Strong has proven time and time again, here in the IXW, that he's a real threat, Rico. This guy can beat anyone on any given night. The Croc on the other hand has shown flashes of brilliance, but he hasn't quite put it all together in the ring.
Rico: Wilson is fairly new to wrestling in general. You can't expect him to be an expert at this point in his young career, but my goodness, does he have potential!
Scotty: If he were half as good in the ring as he is on the microphone, IXW Superstars would be terrified to face him!
Rico: That's a bit harsh isn't it, Scotty?
Scotty: You're right, Rico. I love The Croc, but he's got some holes in his game. I'm sure with a few more fights under his belt, we will see some major improvements from Wilson.
Rico: Well, folks, up next we have a rematch from the Solace of Sovereignty tournament. Mike Diaz is slated to go head to head with Buck "The Stallion" Highland!
Scotty: I say it every time, but Mike Diaz is the real deal, Rico. This guy is a monster! I can't wait to watch him fight again.
Rico: Words can't even begin to describe what we just saw, Scotty. How did...? What the...? When did...? Where...?
Scotty: Mike Diaz just planted Highland into the cement and smashed our announce table in the process...
Rico: But... Did you... How did...
Scotty: Then, he was too busy celebrating in the ring to finish the job! Out of nowhere, Buck slide back in and lassos up a victory!
Rico: How did "The Stallion" ever get up from that?!
Scotty: What an incredible turn of events! I can't believe it! What an amazing display of heart by The Stallion!
Rico: I'm still in shock, Scotty...
Scotty: Well don't get too comfortable, Rico... Things are apparently heating up back stage!!
Rico: Thor Modi and The Jester... It doesn't look like they are exchanging pleasantries, Scotty!
Scotty: I would imagine that Thorbjorn Modi is at least a little hung up on the fact that he lost the IXW Championship at the hands of The Jester last weekend at the Solace of Sovereignty!
Rico: Oh no, Scotty... Here it goes!!
Rico: I don't know that we've seen the end of this feud, Scotty.
Scotty: Well, and from the sound of things, apparently Jeremy Ewing isn't too happy with what just went down... He's on his way out here right now!
Jeremy: I'm beyond tired of this backstage bull crap... Thorbjorn Modi.... Jester... get your $%!es out here... RIGHT NOW!!!
Jeremy: I don't pay you morons to beat eachother's brains in back stage. It's your job to step into this ring whenever the hell I tell you to and put on a show for these crowds. When I start selling tickets to sit in the damn dressing rooms, you idiots can start putting on matches back there. Until then, you WILL listen to what I tell you do, and you will NOT do anything to act against those rules. Do you understand me?!.....
.... Now, both of you... sit the hell down!
Jeremy: If you two rejects want to slap each other around, then let's make it official! The Jester will defend his IXW Championship for the first time, next Saturday night at the Miscreant Melee in the main event of the evening! One on one, mano e mano. Sign on the dotted line and keep your damn hands to yourselves until the Melee, if you know what's good for you!
Rico: A 20-man over-the-top battle royal with the IXW Midwest Championship on the line... AND The Jester versus Thorbjorn Modi for the IXW Championship?!
Scotty: The Miscreant Melee is really taking shape, Rico! I can't wait to see what else is in store!!
Rico: All I know is that up next is the match that I have been waiting for all night, Scotty!
Scotty: Absolutely, Rico! Adrian Emerich has been rubbing some IXW Superstars the wrong way. None moreso than Jace Adair!
Rico: Ole J.A. didn't hide his disdain for Emerich earlier this week when he issued a direct challenge to Emerich, and boy oh boy, did Emerich respond! It's all lead up to this, a no disqualification slugfest!
Rico: Who the...? What just happened?!
Scotty: Rico, that is none other than THE Joel Johnston! What is he doing helping Adrian Emerich?! What a dastardly attack!
Rico: That steel chair echoed through the entire arena, Scotty! Ace may be seriously injured!
Scotty: What a devastating attack by Johnston and Emerich! Just gutless and pure evil... absolutely delusional and wreckless....
Rico: These two together certainly doesn't look like a good thing for IXW... I will admit that I'm a little more than paranoid, Scotty.
Scotty: With good reason, partner. These two men have absolutely no remorse for what they just did... I can't believe it. This is despicible.
Rico: What's this? Jeremy Ewing is on his way back out to the ring?!
Jeremy: Now THAT is what I call excitement! hahaha... I enjoyed that so much, that I just came up with a brilliant little idea that I thought I'd lay out there for everyone here tonight! hahaha.... Next Saturday at the Miscreant Melee, we've already got a 20-man battle royal. We already got an IXW Championship title defense. So how about we add another little nugget of annihilation to the menu? At the Miscreant Melee, Jace Adair will go "knuckles to noses" with Adrian Emerich... AND THE Joel Johnston in a handicapped match! hahaha... Man, I love my job! hahaha...
Scotty: I can't stand that guy sometimes...
Rico: Scotty, be careful... he does sign our paychecks!
Scotty: I'd just like to wring his neck myself sometimes... A handicapped match?! Did you just see what those psychopaths did to Ace? This is unfair... I can't believe this!
Rico: Unfortunatley, Scotty... it's going to happen next Saturday night at the Miscreant Melee.
