Rico Valenzuela: We are just two short weeks away from the biggest New Year's celebration the wrestling world has to offer... IXW's New Year's Bash! IXW fans, thank you for joining us yet again for another fantastic night of IXW Saturday Night! I am your host with the most, Rico Valenzuela, and I am joined at ringside by my good friend, the living legend, "Stunning" Scotty Starks.
Scotty: It's great to be here, Rico! We've got a great slate of matches set for tonight, and I'm sure we will have some surprises along the way!
Rico: The IXW is always good for a surprise or two, Scotty. That's for sure. Either way, we do know that we will see Craig "The Croc" Wilson go one on one with The Jester in tonight's main event! The Croc got a big win last week over Jace Adair, and he has catapulted himself back into the mix in the IXW Midwest Championship Title race. The Jester just lost back to back IXW Championship matches to the reigning champ, Adrian Emerich, so these two men are right near the top of the food chain, and both are hungry for a big win here tonight.
Scotty: Well, Rico, you mentioned Jace Adair and his disappointing loss to The Croc last week. He will get an opportunity to rebound with a big match up against Wayne Level later on tonight. Ace really needs to get a "W," if he wants to get another crack at making the New Year's Bash to face Michael Diaz for the IXW Midwest Championship strap.
Rico: Speaking of title hopes and IXW's New Year's Bash, Kezzer Drix and Rage will seek a little revenger against The Undead in tag team action live tonight as well. Kezz and Rage are slated to face The Ascension at The Bash to crown the first ever IXW Tag Team Champions! However, The Undead snuck their nose out there last week with their viscious attack of Kezzer and Rage after their victory. It was despicable!
Scotty: It never ceases to amaze me what some superstars will do to get recognized in this day and age, Rico. Then again, there are guys like Wonderful Wesley that do everything the right way to receive their recognition! Wesley is one of the hardest workers in IXW, and he's absolutely earned himself some top billing. He will take on Brian Blaze tonight, in what should be an exciting match.
Rico: Wesley is known for his exciting matches, no doubt about it. He never disappoints in that regard.
Scotty: We've also got some tag team action set to get us started on the card tonight. The Cartel will go head to head against Sudden Impact, the team of Bryan Carter and Lex Xander. These two tag teams are still in their infancy, but both have shown a lot of promise. I'm really looking forward to this one, Rico.
Rico: I couldn't agree more, Scotty. It's going to be an incredible night!
Scotty: The Cartel are on their way out to the ring now. Mr. Rodriguez and El Hombre. These two young superstars have made quite the splash already with a couple strong performances.
Rico: They are quickly climbing the tag team division ladder, but Lex Xander and Bryan Carter are both solidified IXW superstars. Since forming the team of Sudden Impact, these two have set a goal to obtain IXW gold, and a win here tonight would go a long way toward making that possible.
Scotty: Both teams could certainly use a win, but as you are well aware, Rico... Only one team survives in the end.
Rico: Well, let's go ahead and get things underway here tonight, Scotty. Jun Chen and Buck "The Stallion" Highland are set to get things going!
Scotty: Let's head in to the ring to kick this show off with a bang!
Unknown: Wesley! How dare you not heed my call! Your time is soon approaching! Hear the final seconds tick off the clock. I'm coming for you. Soon enough you and the rest of IXW shall Hail to The Victor!
Rico: Not again! Who is that! Wesley is furious!
Scotty: Oh no! Blaze taking full advantage of the distraction! He's going for the cover!
Rico: My goodness! What is going on? Who was that? What does he have against Wesley?
Scotty: This is absolute insanity, Rico! No one in the back has any idea how this keeps happening! I just got word from the crew that someone has again found a way to hack into the lights and sound.
Rico: I'm more than weirded out, Scotty. This is just creepy!
Scotty: At some point, whoever this is will have to face the music and show his face. When he does, Wesley will be waiting for him!
Scotty: The action keeps on rolling with our next match up, Rico. Wonderful Wesley and Brian Blaze set to do battle in the squared circle next!
Rico: Wesley put on a tremendous performance last week with a big win over Wayne Level, Scotty. Let's just hope that nothing weird happens again...
Scotty: You can say that again, Rico. I'm still a little creeped out by the inexplicable interruption during Wesley's introduction last week. No one in the back seemed to have any clue what that was all about either. Kind of eerie when you really think about it.
Rico: Either way, let's head to the ring for the action!
Rico: Bryan Carter is leveraging on the ropes! El Hombre just bench pressed him off! What incredible strength!
Scotty: And a high flying display to boot, Rico! Hombre rolls up Carter!
Rico: The Cartel with a huge victory tonight over Sudden Impact, Scotty! This will certainly help to increase The Cartel's stock in the ever-evolving Tag Team division.
Scotty: Absolutely, Rico! The Cartel have continued to look more and more impressive each and every time they step into the ring.
Scotty: So last week, Rico, The Undead jumped Kezzer Drix and Rage after their victory over The Cartel. Needless to say, the cagey vets weren't too pleased with the sneak attack. They were quick to request this match here tonight!
Rico: Kezzer and Rage aren't two guys that I'd like to have angry at me, Scotty. These two have been around the block a time or two!
Scotty: The Undead, Scorpion and Wrath, may have bit off more than they can chew with this one, Rico!
Rico: Kezz and Rage have asked for a quick moment before the match to say a few words... let's head to the ring to see what they have to say!
Scotty: Jace Adair the high flyer! My god! What a display of athleticism by Ace!
Rico: J.A. hooks the leg! He's got the win! What a tremendous win for Adair! That should get the attention of the other two men in the IXW Midwest Championship hunt!
Scotty: A big win for Jace! Rico, he looked like a man on a mission here tonight! He left it all in the ring tonight!
Rico: Ace has been absolutely forthcoming about wanting a title shot. It's obvious that he's determined to get one sooner rather than later!
Rico: The ref is out cold! Wait just a damn minute! What is Mr. Rodriguez doing out here!
Scotty: The Cartel have just thrown The Scorpion a steel chair!
Rico: My god! You could hear the crack off of Rage's skull with that chair shot! No! Not like this!
Scotty: The Undead have somehow stolen a title shot away from Kezzer and Rage! This can't be happening!
Rico: Either way, we've got to move on with tonight's matches. We've got two rising superstars set to do battle, Scotty!
Scotty: Wayne Level and Jace Adair are both coming off of tough losses last week. Both superstars need a win to help save face here tonight.
Rico: J.A. lost a title shot with his loss to Craig Wilson last week, and Wayne Level took a beating at the hands of a very determined Wonderful Wesley. If Ace wants to get back into title contention, he will need a solid showing here tonight. For Level, he's continuing to try to make a push toward the upper echelon. A win over Adair would certainly help to cement his status!
Scotty: I can't wait to see what kind of show these two put on!
Rico: Well, we said there would be surprises... I just didn't expect the ones that we've seen so far, Scotty.
Scotty: Never a dull moment when IXW Saturday Night comes to town!
Rico: Well, the craziness continues, Scotty! The Croc versus The Jester up next! Two of IXW's biggest superstars set to go to war!
Scotty: The Jester wants his belt back, and The Croc wants another shot at Michael Diaz. Needless to say, neither man can afford a loss here tonight, Rico. Just two weeks from IXW's New Year's Bash, there's too much on the line for both of these guys!
Rico: Let's head to the ring and get this match started, Scotty! It should be a hum-dinger!
Scotty: I don't know what a "hum-dinger" is, but either way, this should be a great match!
Rico: The Croc with an absolutely massive win! The Croc means business, Scotty!
Scotty: Another fantastic match, and The Croc emerges victorious!
Rico: Wait a moment... Lilianna Gutierrez is standing by with the IXW Midwest Champion, Michael Diaz...
Scotty: Well, let the Champ speak, Rico! Take it away, Lil!
Lilianna: Thanks, boys. As you just said, I am here with the IXW's Midwest Champion, Michael Diaz. Mike, you just saw both Jace Adair and Craig "The Croc" Wilson with big wins here tonight at IXW Saturday Night. Are you the least bit concerned about your title defense at New Year's Bash in two weeks?
Diaz: Do I look "concerned" to you, Lily? The Croc. Jace Adair. It doesn't matter who the number one contender is. I will innihilate whoever steps in that ring to face me at New Year's Bash. There's nobody in the IXW that "concerns" Mike Diaz!
Lilianna: Well, champ, I can certainly understand your confidence given your recent run of dominance. However, do you have a preference as to which man you face at New Year's Bash?
Diaz: As far as I care, they can both come after me at The Bash. Mike Diaz is taking on all challengers for his Midwest Title. Hell, let's make it interesting. Let's have a little three-way dance! What do you say, Lily?
Lilianna: Are you saying that you want to face both men at the New Year's Bash, Mike?
Diaz: I don't think I stuttered, did I?
Lilianna: No. Definitely not. Well, I guess that's that. If Mike Diaz has his way, we're looking at a triple threat match for the IXW Midwest Championship in just two short weeks, guys!
Kezzer: So last week, those two circus freak rejects, The Undead, decided it was a good idea to attack Rage and I after our match. We've got a little proposition for you boys.
Rage: How about we up the ante tonight, Scorpion and Wrath...
Kezzer: Our spot in the Tag Team Championship match at New Year's Bash. If you two clowns can beat us here tonight, we will vacate our spot, and let you have our spot against The Ascension for the Tag Titles!
Rage: What do you say, ladies?
Rico: Kezzer and Rage are putting their title shot on the line!
Scotty: The stakes don't get any larger than that, Rico!
