Sebastian Whitlock: IXW fans, I'm here backstage reporting on some breaking news. IXW General Manager Alan Hinders has announced a pre-show match up live here tonight before the Miscreant Melee pay-per-view is set to kick off. Mike Diaz will go one on one with Buck "The Stallion" Highland! Both men are scheduled to stop by here and speak with us on their way out to the ring. Despite a full slate of matches and two titles up for grabs, the action continues to pile up for this event! Michael Diaz is standing by with Lilianna Gutierrez. Lilianna, take it away!
Lilianna: Thank you, Sebastian. I am standing just out side Mike Diaz's dressing room with The Death Dealer himself. Mr. Diaz, what are your thoughts on this pre-show fight against Buck Highland here tonight?
Diaz: Lily, it's plain and simple. I absolutely obliterated The Stallion last weekend at IXW Saturday Night. I slipped up and got a little cocky. Next thing you know, "The Pony" slides in and steals the win right out from under me. It was a mistake on my behalf, but I promise you this... It won't happen again. Tonight, I'm going to finish what I started last week.
Lilianna: Mike, you are both scheduled to fight later in the 20-man over-the-top battle royal for the IXW Midwest Championship. Do you feel that this match will put you at a disadvantage heading into that match?
Diaz: Ha! Ole Horseface Highland may be at a disadvantage after I send him through the glue factory, but I will be fine. Not only do I plan on mopping the rign with Highland's face right now, but I will also be walking out of here tonight with the IXW Midwest title over my shoulder.
*Diaz stares into the camera*
Lilianna: Sebastian, you heard it here. Mike Diaz has big plans for himself here tonight at the Miscreant Melee! Let's hear from Buck Highland!
Sebastian: Thank you, Lilianna. Buck, you seemingly stole a win from Mike Diaz last week on IXW Saturday Night after taking a pretty serious licking. What do you have planned for the rematch here tonight?
Highland: Stole a victory? What in tarnation are you talkin' 'bout, Seabass? I pinned that baffoon dead square in the center of the ring. It ain't my fault he got all cocky and what-not.
Sebastion: I'm sorry, Buck. I meant no disrespect.
Highland: I don't pay it no nevermind. I'm gonna whip up on Diaz here tonight and prove to him and everyone else that he ain't all he thinks is. That fool don't know what's good for him if he thinks he's gonna come in here tonight and walk right through ole Buck Highland.
Sebastian: Buck, what are your thoughts on the 20-man battle royale that you are also scheduled to take part in here tonight at the Miscreant Melee? Do you think this match against Diaz will hurt your chances of taking home the IXW Midwest Championship?
Highland: Aw, heck no, Seabass! I'll make quick work of hog-tying ole Diaz here early on, and then I'm gonna make darn sure that I leave here tonight with a pretty new belt around my waist. Just you wait and see!
Highland heads toward the ring.
Sebastian: Ladies and gentlemen, neither man seems to concerned with this match harming their chances in tonights battle royale, but both don't seem to hold one another in very high regards. This match is sure to get things heated up quickly before the Miscreant Melee is even set to take off! Let's head to the ring for the action!
Rico Valenzuela: IXW fans, tonight is the night that we've all been waiting for! Both IXW title belts are on the line here at the Miscreant Melee and there's plenty more action in store. Let me be the first to welcome you all!
Rico: I am joined here at ringside by IXW correspondents Sebastian Whitlock and Lilianna Gutierrez. Sebastian and Lilianna, thank you so much for coming out here to help me call this spectacular event here tonight. For those of you that are unaware, my normal broadcast partner, "Stunning" Scotty Starks is unavailable for his typical announcing duties tonight as he is actually scheduled to participate in tonight's co-main event of the evening! That's right, the one and only, Scotty Starks will strap on his boots and make an appearance in the Miscreant Melee 20-man over-the-top battle royale scheduled to take place here later tonight!
Lilianna: What an honor to watch a legend like Scotty Starks grace the IXW ring! I can't wait to watch one of my favorite wrestlers of all time make a run at the IXW Midwest Championship here tonight!
Sebastian: Truly an honor, Lily, but how about the huge rematch between the IXW Champions, The Jester, and Thorbjorn Modi? There's no love loss there! Two of today's best going head to head again with the IXW title on the line! I can't wait!
Rico: On top of that, we've got a rematch between Craig "The Croc" Wilson and Boston Strong as well! Two exciting IXW Superstars slated to settle the score after an excellent match up last week!
Sebastian: Let's not forget that the dastardly tag team of Adrian Emerich and The Joel Johnston are also on the hook to take on Jace Adair as well. Johnston made his debut last weekend at IXW Saturday Night when he came out of nowhere to help Emerich steal one from Ace.
Lilianna: Those two are trouble, guys. I don't know that poor Jace stands a chance against those two monsters without any help!
Rico: An action packed night from start to finish! The Miscreant Melee is sure to be a night to remember, folks. Don't change the channel! You certainly don't want to miss what we have in store for you here tonight! Let's go to the ring and get things started for real with Craig "The Croc" Wilson versus Boston Strong in what should be a great re-match from last Saturday!
Rico: Tables, chairs, ladders, and steel ring steps! What a way to start off the night! Boston Strong with an incredibly gutsy performance here tonight!
Lilianna: Every time that Strong has taken the ring here in the IXW, he's proven that he is a force to be reckoned with. He's had a pretty amazing run here in the early going of the IXW, guys!
Sebastian: Couldn't agree more, but how about Wilson? He just keeps getting better and better every time he steps in the ring. This kid puts on a show each and every night. I love to watch him fight!
Rico: Things are just starting to heat up here at the Miscreant Melee, IXW fans! Up next we have a grueling handicap match scheduled to take place between the team of Emerich and Johnston taking on Jace Adair. IXW General Manager Jeremy Ewing setup this match up last week at IXW Saturday Night after The Joel Johnston literally came out of nowhere and tossed Adrian Emerich the steel chair that he used to defeat J.A. while the referee had been knocked down! The question that we all want to know the answer to is whether Adair has what it takes to withstand the punishment of two IXW Superstars here tonight! Let's head into the action!
Rico: MY GOODNESS, Lilianna... how is Jace Adair going to even make it back out here to take part in the 20-man over-the-top battle royale? Johnston and Emerich absolutely held nothing back here tonight. It was a sickening display of brutality. Ace didn't stand a chance out there without any help. I'm sick to my stomach after watching that.
Lilianna: We all knew that Emerich was a bad apple, but teaming him up with Johnston just stokes the fire that much more. These two are about as rude and crude as they come. I can't believe that Jeremy Ewing would every think that this type of match was a good idea...
Rico: Lilianna, apparently, Sebastian is backstage with Emerich and Johnston now... Let's head back to see what they have to say!
Sebastian: Thanks, guys. I'm here wi...
Emerich: How'd you like that spectacle, Seabass? Haha.
Sebastian: Well, you guys certainly...
Emerich: I don't really give a damn what you thought, you ignorant fool. Do you even know what a rhetorical question is?
Sebastian: Yes, I d...
Emerich: Just as I thought! Haha. Either way... Jace Adair was the unfortunate recipient of the first beating handed down by myself and THE Joel Johnston, but that's what happens when you open your mouth and try to pick a fight with The Franchise. You can't come out and start flapping your gums without getting jacked in your jaw every now and then. Me and Joel aren't here to make friends, Seabass. You see, we're here to take over the IXW. Show the whole damn world the future of sports entertainment. We're not slowing down any time soon either. Tonight, it was Jace Adair. Tomorrow, who the hell knows. If anyone is stupid enough to step up, we'll be more than happy to slap them back down into their place.
Sebastian: Do...
Emerich: Don't you dare speak until I give you permission to do so! Do you understand me?
Sebastian: Y...
Emerich: That wasn't permission, you reject. ...Anyway, where was I... That's right, I was letting you all in on how things are going to go around here in the IXW from now on. Joel and I are done taking orders. We will do whatever the hell we want, whenever the hell we want, and there's not a soul in the IXW that will be able to do a damn thing about, Seabass. Did you see the devastation that we laid down out there? If the rest of you maggots are smart, you'll steer clear and stay the hell out of our way.
Johnston shoves past Sebastian as the two men walk off camera, leaving Sebastian standing alone, visibly shaken.
Sebastian: Umm... Well... Uhhh.. Back to you guys....
Rico: What a couple of punks. There's no way that those two are going to get away with acting like that. I can only hope that one of the IXW General Managers has something to say about this.
Lilianna: Poor Sebastian. He looked absolutely terrified!
Rico: Can you really blame him? Did you see what those two just did to J.A.? Can you imagine what they could do to someone Sebastian's size?!
Lilianna: I don't know that I'd want to find out.
Rico: Just despicable... Well, ladies and gentlemen! The time has come! The IXW Midwest Champion is about to be crowned!! A 20-man, over-the-top battle royale is set to get underway! Even better yet, the IXW's own, "Stunning" Scotty Starks is set to make his IXW debut and long awaited return to the ring! I can't wait to watch ole Scotty get in there and tangle with these young Superstars!
Lilianna: I grew up watching Scotty Starks! I'm so excited to sit here at ring side and watch him compete here tonight, Rico!
Rico: Not only will will see Scotty Starks, Lilianna, but 19 other IXW Superstars will compete for a chance to take home IXW gold here tonight. Wonder Wesley, Mike Diaz, Jace Adair, Boston Strong, Craig Wilson, Adrian Emerich, Earthquake, and Wrath! It's going to be chaos!
Lilianna: You didn't even mention Kezzer Drix, WayneLevl, The Mastadon, D.R. Wagner Jr, or Brian Blaze!
Rico: Don't forget about Jun Chen, Lex Xander, Buck Highland, and The Joel Johnston! Buckle up, IXW fans!! Here. We. Go!
Rico: Michael Diaz, the new IXW Midwest Champion! What a performance!
Rico: Diaz draws entry number 17 and eliminates Craig "The Croc" Wilson, Terrance Brock, and The Mastadon on his way to claiming the IXW Midwest title! Even better yet, Diaz called his own shot here earlier tonight in a pre-show interview with Lilianna!
Lilianna: He sure did, Rico! Diaz was a man on a mission here tonight!
Sebastian: Certainly an impressive feat anytime you win an over-the-top battle royale. Diaz undoubtedly deserves to be the undisputed Midwest Champ.
Rico: You know guys, there were a few other names that deserve some mentioning for a job well done. Let's talk about Kezzer Drix and Wonder Wesley! Wesley eliminated a total of 4 opponents! That's more than anyone else in the Melee here tonight. Not mention that one of those 4 men was Earthquake! Kezzer Drix also eliminated 4 opponents before ultimately being eliminated by Wesley, but at one point those two came in and pretty much cleaned house!
Lilianna: What about Craig Wilson? He eliminated Wesley finally and then also took out Scotty Starks! Another step up the ladder in that young blokes career, I'd say.
Sebastian: Just a phenomenal match all around. Some fresh faces making a solid impression here tonight. It's always great to see some up-and-coming talent making a name for themselves on the big stage. It just shows the depth of quality competition here in the IXW already, guys.
Rico: Speaking of quality competition! How about the IXW Championship match coming up between The Jester and Thorbjorn Modi? These two men survived the gauntlet at Solace of Sovereignty to get the opportunity to walk away a champion. Just last week, they beat each other to bejeezus and back in the dressing rooms, and here tonight, they will lock horns yet again!
Lilianna: To this point, we haven't seen anyone really handle The Jester, but Thorbjorn Modi has been a force himself. This should be a great match!
Sebastian: We haven't seen anyone "handle" The Jester? Lilianna, did you see Modi leave The Jester in a heap backstage last week? I think he can certainly hold his own against the champ!
