Rico Valenzuela: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another IXW Saturday Night! We are just one short week away from IXW Retribution, and we've got an action packed card for you here tonight! Not only will we set the final bracket for the recently announced tag team championship tournament, but we will also finally find out exactly what will happen with the IXW Championship rematch between The Jester and Adrian Emerich! As always, I am joined at ringside by "Stunning" Scotty Starks! Scotty, it's a big night here for IXW. Which matchup are you looking forward to the most?
Scotty: I won't lie, Rico. Ever since I heard about this competition between Adrian Emerich and The Jester, I can't get enough. The matchups have been announced for tonight, and we'll see Emerich go up against Buck "The Stallion" Highland and The Jester is set to face The Scorpion who cost him a win last week on IXW Saturday Night. Both matches should be fantastic!
Rico: No doubt about it, Scotty. Those two men are going to put it all on the line tonight. The winner of that competition has the right to name the match stipulations for their long awaited rematch at Retribution!
Scotty: The stakes are high for both competitors here tonight, Rico.
Rico: Speaking of high stakes, how about this Tag Team Tournament? We've been told that The Ascension have already cemented their entry into the tournament bracket, and we've heard that the team of Kezzer Drix and Rage has stamped their ticket with their win last week. There are still two open slots for the tournament, and we've got two tag team tilts on the table for tonight.
Scotty: We have seen a few newly formed tag teams already, and the word is that we have a few new teams that will debut later.
Rico: I can confirm that Wayne Level and Jun Chen will team up to face the duo of Wonderful Wesley and Terrence Brock to open up the card here tonight. Level and Wesley have both made a name for themselves in recent singles action, so it's nice to see them both getting some title opportunities now in the newly formed tag team division.
Scotty: Wesley and Brock have teamed a few times before, so you'd think that they would hold a slight edge over Level and Chen. However, you can't count Wayne Level out of any fight, as we've seen over the past few weeks.
Rico: We will also see Brian Blaze and Wrath team up to face the tag team of Bryan Carter and Lex Xander.
Scotty: Carter and Xander make a pretty solid pairing, Rico. At the same time, Blaze and Wrath certainly aren't opponents to take lightly. I could see any of these teams as champions. With such a fresh new division being formed, it's hard to see any one tag team with a distinct advantage.
Rico: I couldn't agree more, Scotty. With that said, let's head to the ring and get this show underway. Level and Chen are set to square off against Wesley and Brock and the winner will gain entry into the four team Tag Team Tournament set to begin at IXW Retribution one week from tonight! Strap in folks, here we go!
Sebastian: Thanks, guys. Mr. Ewing, we just saw the team of Wayne Level and Jun Chen and the duo of Bryan Carter and Lex Xander earn entry into the four team tournament at Retribution. We've also been told that The Ascension and the team of Kezzer Drix and Rage have already stamped their tickets with their wins last week. Can you shed some light on the match-ups that are set to take place live next week at IXW Retribution?
Jeremy: Seabass, it is my pleasure to announce the official Tag Team Tournament bracket. As we've already stated, we will see both semi-final round matches at Retribution next week. The two teams that are victorious will then earn the right to go head to head at IXW's New Year's Bash on December 27th to crown the first ever IXW Tag Team Champions!
Sebastian: I can't wait to hear more. Please, continue.
Jeremy: One week from tonight, The Ascension will face the team of Lex Xander and Bryan Carter. That obviously means that we will also see Kezzer Drix and Rage square off against Wayne Level and Jun Chen!
Sebastian: Now, Mr. Ewing, you just also dropped another hint about the IXW's next pay-per-view event after Retribution. Can you give us a little more insight into what we can expect from IXW's New Year's Bash?
Jeremy: Sebastian, you picked up on that, huh?
Sebastian: Yes, sir! That's big news. We hadn't heard anything about what was to come after Retribution. I'd be doing a disservice to IXW fans if I didn't ask for more info.
Jeremy: You're right, Sebastian. I can't tell you much about the New Year's Bash, but I will give you a little sneak preview. Needless to say, the IXW has big plans to end the 2014 calendar year with bang. Here's just a quick peek of the show banner. I will have more news about the fight card in the coming weeks.
Sebastian: There you have it, Rico! The tournament bracket is set, and another PPV announcement! Big news direct from the boss!
Rico: We knew that tonight was going to be a big night, Scotty, but that was more than we had bargained for!
Scotty: I'm not sure if he meant to make that announcement or if he slipped up, Rico. Either way, we now have a better idea of what the month of December has in store for us!
Rico: Well, before we get too carried away, let's keep the focus on this month's pay-per-view event, Scotty. Adrian Emerich finds himself in desperate need of a win here tonight. He's currently down 0-1 in his competition with The Jester. He needs a win here tonight to stay alive in the hopes that he gets to choose the match stipulation for next week's title rematch. He's set to go one on one against Buck Highland! Let's head into the ring!
Rico: Emerich gets the win and evens the score! That's a huge win for Emerich, and now all the pressure is on The Jester!
Scotty: The champion looked like a man possessed here tonight, Rico. Adrian Emerich knew he had to win, and he brought his best to the ring with him tonight.
Alan: Well, well, well... We've got quite the predicament now, don't we? The Jester and Adrian Emerich find themselves all tied up after multiple weeks of fighting against some of the toughest opponents that the IXW has to offer. These men have fought current champions, former champions, and likely future champions over the course of the last month. With each week, we've seen these two lay it all on the line to gain the competitive advantage over their opponent at next week's IXW Retribution. However, it was all for nothing... After a grueling stretch, neither man could emerge as the clear victor. Fortunately, I've been preparing for every possible outcome, so live, here tonight, The Jester and Adrian Emerich will go face to face one last time! Winner takes all! Whichever man can win in tonight's new main event will get his choice of match stipulation one week from tonight at Retribution! Just to be certain that this ends as fairly as possible, I am banning The Joel Johnston and all other IXW Superstars from ringside during the fight! Anyone foolish enough to interfere in this match will be fired on the spot! I hope you're all listening! This isn't a joke, and trust me, you don't want to test me on this! Emerich. Jester. I want to see a good, clean fight! May the best man win!
Rico: Let's not waste any time. The Jester is one win away from staking his claim to being able to choose the match type for next Saturday's IXW Championship rematch. He's drawn The Scorpion here tonight.
Scotty: The Scorpion used a steel chair to cost The Jester a win last week. Let's see if the former champ can get a little revenge here tonight, Rico!
Rico: The competitiors are in the ring now! Let's head in to the action!
Scotty: I don't think this is how this whole competition was supposed to end, Rico... I'm at a complete loss of words...
Rico: Neither man could gain the advantage after several weeks of fighting, and now we are left with only questions.
Scotty: Wait a second... Here comes Alan Hinders! I bet the IXW co-general manage will have some answers for us, Rico!
Rico: I'm sure he will, Scotty! Let's let the boss man put an end to all this madness!
Scotty: That one's gonna sting, Rico! The Scorpion hooks the leg!
Rico: Scorpion gets the three count!
Scotty: Uh oh! It's a tie?! Emerich and The Jester are tied!
Rico: 1-1 is the final score! Who gets to choose the match stipulation for Retribution now, Scotty?
Scotty: We now know the four teams that will take part in the tournament, Rico. Now we are just waiting for IXW General Manger, Jeremy Ewing, to make the official bracket announcement!
Rico: He's backstage with Sebastian now, Scotty. Let's send it over to Seabass for the big reveal!
Rico: Level catapulting over the top rope! He's going for the cover of Terrence Brock!
Scotty: Jun Chen and Wayne Level are one step closer to becoming the innaugural IXW Tag Team Champions!
Rico: We will find out later tonight what the official tournament bracket looks like, but we now know that the team of Wayne Level and Jun Chen will join the likes of The Ascension and Kezzer Drix and Rage at Retribution!
Rico: Let's stick with the tag team action and go ahead and finalize this bracket, Scotty!
Scotty: Only one slot remains open! Bryan Carter and Lex Xander standing face to face with the team of Brian Blaze and Wrath! Who will inch closer to hoisting Tag Team gold in the IXW?!
Rico: We will find out soon enough! Let's head into the ring!
Rico: Brian Blaze just a step too slow to break up the pin fall! Xander pins Wrath with the fisherman's suplex!
Scotty: Xander and Carter looked tough tonight, Rico! This team is poised to make some noise in the Tag Team division!
Scotty: Fortunately, they will at least get a short break!
Rico: Originally, tonight's main event was scheduled to be Craig Wilson versus Earthquake, but my, my, how things have changed!
Scotty: The Croc wanted a tune up match to get ready for his IXW Midwest Title fight against Michael Diaz next week, and Earthquake gladly stepped up to the plate to accept.
Rico: If Wilson can find a way to beat Earthquake, surely he will quiet the doubters that have pegged him as an underdog heading into his rematch against Diaz at Retribution, Scotty!
Scotty: There's only one way to find out for sure, Rico! Let's head in to the ring!
Scotty: Jester and Emerich going head to head live here tonight?!
Rico: A non-title fight to set up for the rematch next week, Scotty! This is huge!
Scotty: Both men have already gone through tough matches here tonight, Rico! They are sure to be exhausted!
Rico: I imagine that they will both do their damndest to find some extra strength in this case, Scotty!
Scotty: The Croc wasn't on top of his game here tonight, Rico. But, after that attack by Diaz, I'm guessing that Craig Wilson will come ready to fight one week from tonight at IXW Retribution!
Rico: Diaz may have just given The Croc all the more motivation for next week's IXW Midwest Championship rematch!
Scotty: Hold on just a minute, Rico... Is that Jace Adair's music? What is Ace doing coming out here?
Rico: J.A. is scheduled to have the night off, Scotty... I have no idea what he's doing?!
Scotty: There's only one way to find out for sure, Rico! Let's head in to the ring!
Scotty: Earthquake gets the win! Wait a second!?! What is Mike Diaz doing out here!?!
Rico: The IXW Midwest Champion adding insult to injury! Here comes Earthquake to the rescue!
Scotty: Diaz is down and out! The Croc has no idea what just happened, Rico!
Rico: Oh no! Diaz has the belt! My god! What a viscious shot to the head! Diaz is taunting The Croc! What a sick display... That's disgusting, Scotty!
Rico: J.A. is all fired up, Scotty! All this talk about Tag Team tournaments and title rematches, we completely glossed over the fact that Ace and The Scorpion are scheduled to fight in an Inferno match next week at Retribution!
Scotty: A ring completely surrounded by flames, Rico! You've got to be absolutely insane to step foot in to one of those matches!
Rico: Jace doesn't seem the slighest bit intimidated though, Scotty! It's going to be an incredible fight!
Scotty: Speaking of incredible fights! The Jester versus Adrian Emerich is up next! The winner will choose the match stipulation for the IXW Championship match at Retribution! Let's head in to the ring, Rico!
Jace: As you all are well aware, one week from tonight at Retribution, The Scorpion and I will be back together making smoke rings in an Inferno match! When the night comes creeping, Scorpion, and you walk through to this side, I hope that you're ready! You won't leave Retribution without your halo of ashes, bro, and when you wake up that ash gray Sunday, you'll lay your head down and let uncle anesthesia kick in to take away the pain that I leave you in. Scorpion,you're looking at your revelator, and as your troubled times draw closer, I hope you can find solace in these last words, you won't stand a prayer when you mess with Jace Adair!
Rico: The Jester with the cover! 1...2...3!!! The Jester wins! The former champ gains control over the match stipulation for his big rematch at Retribution!
Scotty: What a fantastic back and forth brawl between these two IXW Superstars, Rico! I can't wait to find out what kind of match The Jester has chosen!
Rico: Well, wait no longer, my good man! I just got word that Lilianna Gutierrez is backstage with Alan Hinders, and he has news regarding the IXW Championship match next week!
Lilianna: Thanks, Rico! I am joined by IXW co-owner and general manager, Alan Hinders. Mr. Hinders, after several long weeks, The Jester and Adrian Emerich found themselves dead locked in their competition earlier tonight. You shocked the world when you announced a head to head tie-breaker as tonight's impromptu main event. We just saw the former champ, The Jester, pin the current champion. That would tell us that The Jester has earned the right to name the match stipulation for their long awaited rematch, scheduled to take place one week from tonight live at IXW Retribution. I was told that you have more information regarding The Jester's choice?
Alan: Thanks, Lil. I most certainly do. I spoke with both Adrian and The Jester backstage tonight before their tie-breaker. Both men informed me of their plans, if they were to win the fight. It is with absolute elation that I am here to announce those plans to you and the IXW fans. The Jester has officially won the challenge by a final score of 2-1, and with that victory, he has earned the right to name the match stipulations for his bid to regain the IXW Heavyweight Championship. One week from tonight, live at IXW Retribution, The Jester and Adrian Emerich will go head to head in a brutal "I Quit" match! The only way to win is by forcing your opponent to verbally submit or tap out!
Lilianna: You've heard it here first, folks! One man will have to force the other into submission in order to leave IXW Retribution with the strap! Check your egos at the door! Someone's will, and maybe an arm or leg, will be broken in the process of crowning a champion! Mr. Hinders, thank you so much for speaking with us here tonight.
