Rico Valenvuela:  Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us tonight for a very special IXW event.  Tonight's pre-show event will help to gear us up for the upcoming Solace of Sovereignty pay-per-view event.  I am Rico Valenvuela, and joining me tonight, as always, my partner in crime, "Stunning" Scotty Starks.  Also alongside us tonight, our good friend, Sebastian "Seabass" Whitlock.  Sebastian, tonight, you have some exciting news for us?

 

Sebastian: Rico, thank you very much.  Let me tell you, things are really starting to heat up here in the IXW.  Here tonight, our colleague, and fellow IXW correspondent, Lillianna Gutierrez will be conducting a live interview with none other than Craig "The Croc" Wilson.  I've also been told that there will be a special announcement from IXW co-owner, Jeremy Ewing about a future IXW pay-per-view event!

 

Rico: The first live interview, and a special announcement, all live here tonight!  Wow!  Scotty, did you know anything about any of this?

 

Scotty:  I know this much.  Jeremy Ewing won't make a trip out here unless there's something major to discuss.  I have a feeling that his announcement should be pretty exciting news for IXW fans.  However, I'm really looking forward to hearing The Croc talk about the upcoming Solace of Sovereignty tournament.  If I was putting my money on anyone to win this whole thing, I'd look no further than Craig Wilson.  

 

Sebastian:  Without further ado, let's head inside the ring to Lilianna Gutierrez!

 

Lilianna: Thanks, Sebastian.  IXW fans, I am here with IXW Superstar, Craig "The Croc" Wilson.  Craig, we've all been told that the inaugural IXW Champion will be crowned at the Solace of Sovereignty pay-per-view event in a 16-man, single-elimination tournament.  The bracket has yet to be announced, but can you give us any insight into your thoughts about the opportunity to become the first ever IXW Champion?

 

The Croc: Lilianna, I couldn't be more jacked for the Solace of Sovereignty. Whoever steps into this ring across from me has no idea what I have in store for them.  The Croc is primed and ready to slap some fools around on his way to becoming the IXW Champion.  I'm jazzed, baby!

 

*Thorbjorn Modi attacks "The Croc" from behind.*

 

Lilianna: What... Sebastian, get someone out here!  Hurry... 

 

Scotty: Thorbjorn Modi with a brutal assault on Wilson!  My goodness!  Rico, I'm telling you what, these IXW Superstars are all amped up for this tournament!

 

Rico: I can't believe what we just saw, Scotty.  Thor Modi jumping The Croc is completely out of character.  This tournament has brought out the fight in these Superstars.  I don't even know what to expect anymore.

 

Scotty:  You're right, Rico.  Tonight may end up being a pretty crazy night here in the IXW. 

 

Rico: We've got cameras backstage, and I'm being told they've spotted Modi.

 

*Camera shifts to Modi backstage*

 

Rico:  Where did Boston Strong come from?!  Modi didn't even see him hiding around that corner and Strong just slammed him into those crates!  

 

Scotty:  Wait, just a second... Is that Jace Adair?!  Is he coming to the rescue of Thor Modi?

 

*The microphone picks up some muffled audio from backstage.*

 

Adair: Takes a big man to jump an unsuspecting foe.  Just wait until the Solace of Sovereignty, Strong!  I'll smack you back to Boston!

 

Strong: If you're such a big shot, why don't you just try your luck right here tonight, hot shot?

 

Scotty:  Jace Adair with a massive right hand!!  He's pummeling Boston Strong!  Where's security?!  This is out of control!

 

Rico:  Strong has turned the tide, and he's landing shot after shot off the forehead of Jace Adair!  This is absolute insanity!

 

Scotty:  Finally, security has decided to do their job!  My god, what's wrong with these guys?  Don't the realize that they will all get their shot at each other at the Solace of Sovereignty?

 

*Overheard from backstage cameras.*

 

Jeremy Ewing:  Both of you clowns, knock it off.... I will make sure that neither of you are in that damn tournament if this crap doesn't stop right here and now.  I've got more important stuff to accomplish tonight than to watch you ignorant fools slap each other around.   

 

Scotty:  It's not often that I'm on his side, but thank heavens that Jeremy Ewing broke up this nonsense.  

 

Rico:  He sounded like he's on a mission here tonight, Scotty!  I have no idea what he has to announce here tonight, but it must be big!  Well, it sounds like the wait is over, folks.  Here comes the man himself...  

 

*Ewing enters the main arena."

 

Rico:  The IXW Midwest Championship!  Does he have news about another championship event?

 

Scotty:  Let's go to Sebastian Whitlock who's standing in the ring with Mr. Ewing.

 

*Camera shifts to Sebastian and Jeremy in the ring.*

 

Sebastian:  Mr. Ewing, thank you for joining us here tonight.  I'm assuming that you have news regarding that IXW Midwest Championship belt that you are carrying?  Can you give us some insight?

 

Jeremy:  You all know about the upcoming tournament to crown the first ever IXW Championship, but I'm here tonight to announce that the next IXW pay-per-view will feature an over-the-top battle royal to crown an IXW Midwest Champion!  These morons are too busy beating each other senseless, they need to be training their butts off, if they plan to stake their claim to either of my titles!  As for you, buy a real sport coat you cheap ass...  I sign your paychecks.  You could at least afford to buy something that doesn't look like it came off the damn clearance rack at the local Goodwill... Pathetic...
