Rico Valenzuela: Boys and girls, the night that we've all been waiting for has finally arrived! Indiana Xtreme Wrestling welcomes you to their first pay-per-view event, Solace of Sovereignty!  Tonight, in the ring here before us, we will see the first ever IXW Champion crowned in a 16-man, single-elimination tournament!  My name is Rico Valenzuela, and, as always, I am joined by my partner in crime, the one and only, "Stunning" Scotty Starks.  I tell you what, the atmosphere in this arena here tonight is absolutely electrifying! Scotty, what are your thoughts on the events that are set to transpire here this evening?

 

Scotty: Rico, first of all, it's great to be here with you for this momentous occasion!  I wouldn't want to be anywhere else tonight!  Here's what I will say about the tournament tonight, though.  Last weekend on IXW Saturday Night, we saw both Boston Strong and The Jester win matches to claim the top seeds on either side of this bracket here tonight.  Without question, those two wrestlers will have major advantages heading into this event.  However, as we saw with the matches last week, anything can happen.  What if Wonder Wesley or Wayne Level shock the world and take out one of those top contenders?  I mean, literally, there are an incredible amount of possible outcomes.  It just takes one upset to throw this entire tournament out of whack!  Think back to last Saturday night, neither of us expected The Jester to walk out of that ring alive, let alone be victorious!  This is going to be intense from start to finish.  These guys are hungry to win a championship, Rico.

 

Rico: Scotty, I'm sorry to step on your toes here, but I believe that we have a special guest making his way to the ring...

Scotty: What does he have to tell us that we don't already know?  We've seen the bracket already...  I don't like this one bit, Rico.  He's not coming out here just to say hello...  What kind of curveball is he about to throw all those guys backstage?  

 

Rico: I certainly have no idea, but I'm sure we are about to find out.

Scotty: I just don't like this at all.  What a weasel.

Jeremy Ewing: I laid down some guidelines last week about what I expected to see from those maggots backstage, and let me just say that I was not at all impressed by their efforts.  Their laziness translates into lost viewers, and that means lower ratings.  I'm not here for lower ratings.  My wallet doesn't like lower ratings, and if my wallet isn't happy, then I'm not very damn happy. So I'm going to ensure that things get done tonight.  Thorbjorn Modi and Craig "The Croc" Wilson will be a no-holds barred, falls count anywhere contest in the first round of tonight's tournament.  On the other side of the bracket, Mike Diaz and Earthquake will settle their score with tables!  If these fools can't make those matches exciting, then the good lord himself can't help them with making it in this business!  Let the games begin, boys!
 

Rico: Wow!  No holds barred, falls count anywhere and a table match in the first round!  Yikes!  It looks like those lower seeded wrestlers just got an even tougher draw than we had thought!  

Scotty:  This is the exact kind of garbage I was afraid of.  How is it even slightly fair to put these guys through all this extra punishment and expect them to still compete in the later rounds? This is just unbelievable!  

Rico: Well, Scotty... He is the boss after all.  

Scotty: That doesn't matter, Rico.  This jackwagon comes out here and just starts shouting orders, but he has no concern for the safety of the very men that put their bodies on the line to make him enough money to buy those fancy limos and private jets.  It's just sickening.

Rico:  Scotty, it is what it is, my friend.  Let's take a look at the bracket for tonight.  As we mentioned previously, Boston Strong draws Wonder Wesley, Jun Chen will square off with Lex Xander, Jace Adair and Wrath will tangle, and Craig Wilson will now face Thor Modi in a no-holds barred, falls count anywhere match up.  On the other side of the bracket, The Jester takes on Wayne Level, D.R. Wagner draw Kezzer Drix, Buck Highland faces Adrian Emerich, and we just learned that Mike Diaz and Earthquake will get down and dirty with some tables!

Scotty:  Tonight's first matchup will feature the top seeded Boston Strong versue Wonderful Wesley!  Strong is a powerhouse riding a recent victory into this match up against the ultra athletic Wesley who is looking to shock the world with a win here tonight!

Rico: My goodness!  What a battle!  Scotty... Wonderful Wesley destroyed out announce table!

Scotty: That kid put on one helluva show here tonight, and he gave Boston Strong everything that he could handle.  In the end, though, his high risk maneuvers got the best of him, and it's Boston Strong moving on to the second round with an impressive victory.  

Rico:  There was more that one point where I thought Strong was finished.  Wesley came to fight tonight!  What a gutsy performance from the young gun.  With that said, Boston Strong continues his march toward the IXW Championship with another victory.  He's certainly got to be an early favorite in this tournament.  

Scotty:  Well, up next, Jun Chen will face off against Lex Xander.  Two up-and-comers in the IXW with an opportunity to make an early impression on fans, and at the same time take one step closer toward IXW gold!  This should be one heck of a match, Rico!

Rico: Both guys have a lot to prove here tonight, Scotty!

Scotty: Lex Xander with a terriffic performance here in the first round, but he's going to need to step up his game, if he plans to knock Boston Strong out of this tournament.

Rico: Agreed, Scotty.  Well, the action is almost non-stop here tonight.  Up next we have the man of mystery, Wrath slated to take on Jace Adair, in what should be an interesting match up.  Both of these guys are known for putting on exciting fights.

Scotty: Wrath is absolutely nuts. Adair is a lose cannon.  This match could get crazy quickly.  Buckle up kids!

Rico: Are you kidding me?!?!  Scotty, can you even belive what we just witnessed?!

 

Scotty:  Jace Adair just made Wrath tap out!  We said early that anything could happen here tonight, but not in my wildest dreams would I have predicted that one!  What an incredible outing for J.A.  This should put the other combatants on look out! 

Rico: Listen to this crowd!  They are eating it up! 

Scotty:  That isn't likely to change anytime soon! We've got a huge match up next!  Craig "The Croc" Wilson to take on Thorbjorn Modi in a no-holds barred, falls count anywhere beatdown!  This is going to be wild, Rico!

Scotty:  Certainly not disappointing!  Croc brought the thunder here tonight, but in the end, he didn't have enough to take down the massive Thor Modi.  A valiant effort on the part of Wilson, but Modi just continues to prove that he is a force to be reckoned with in the IXW.

 

Rico:  Another submission victory here in the first round!  What a crazy first few matches!  Either way, we will see Boston Strong vs Lex Xander and Jace Adair vs Thor Modi in the second round of the tournament!  Let's move to the other side of the bracket.

Scotty: Absolutely!  Up first is The Jester vs Wayne Level.  The Jester comes in as the huge favorite after his big win a week ago, but don't let that fool you.  Level is certainly capable of bringing the fight to The Jester!

Rico: Level made a nice little run there, but The Jester continues his rise to prominence here in the IXW with another excellent performance.  

 

Scotty:  I'm starting to warm up to this Jester fella, Rico.  What a great match!  

Rico: Up next, D.R. Wagner, Jr is set to face off against Kezzer Drix.  A couple veterans here, Scotty.

Scotty:  Should be a great one, Rico. These guys both know their way around the squared circle.  Hold on to your hats, folks!

Scotty: Wagner just couldn't finish off Kezzer Drix.  He had him on the ropes more than once, but Kezzer showed a lot of heart in there tonight.  That's a big win for Kezzer, and that will put some pressure on The Jester in round number two.

Rico: Couldn't agree more, Scotty.  Kezzer is no slouch.  Speaking of guys that mean business, Adrian Emerich and Buck "The Stallion" Highland are up next.  This one could get nasty!

Scotty: These two love to brawl, so expect a physical match up out them! This could be a good ole slobberknocker, if there ever was one!

Rico: An incredible back and forth affair between Emerich and Highland, but it's "The Stallion" that will advance to the second round, Scotty.

 

Scotty: A hard fought match indeed, Rico.  Highland earned that victory, but he's going to be sore headed into round number two.

Rico: Up next, Michael Diaz and Earthquake are prepared to re-arrange some furniture in a table match!  

Scotty: Diaz is a monster, but Earthquake's experience can't be match here in the IXW.  This should be fun to watch!

Scotty: Diaz with an absolutely incredible display here tonight! I honestly had Earthquake pegged to win this whole tournament! What have I been saying about Diaz though? This guy is a beast!

 

Rico: He's certainly made a case for himself here tonight with a win like that! 

Scotty: So heading in to the second round, The Jester will face Kezzer Drix and Buck Highland will take on Michael Diaz.  What a slate of matches we have to look forward to.  This tournament just keeps getting better!  

 

Rico: Don't forget about the other side of the bracket, Scotty.  Boston Strong versus Lex Xander and Jace Adair "putting knuckles to noses," as he says, with Thor Modi!  

Scotty: At this point, Rico, we've already seen some incredible things take place.  We've seen two submission victoies, some incredible upsets, our announce table was shattered, and the largest, most experienced wrestler in the tournament has been eliminated!  What in the world is going to happen next?

Scotty: Boston Strong advances to the semi-final with another impressive win!  

 

Rico: Lex Xander did his best, but you could really tell that Strong was just on another level here tonight.  It may be a bit premature, but I'm picking Strong to take this tournament after that win.  He's just been too impressive in his first two matches.

Scotty: Rico, I've told you before, you don't do anything prematurely.  With all the surprises we've had tonight, nothing is a sure bet.  Heck, either Jace Adair or Thor Modi could send Boston packing.  You never know at this point.

Rico: I guess you're right, Scotty.  But, I think Strong is as good a bet as any.

Scotty: Let's see what J.A. and Modi have to say about that!

Rico: It took a few Burning Hammers to put Ace away, but it's Thor Modi advancing to the semi-finals to face Boston Strong! 

Scotty: It really looked like Modi wore Adair down.  In the end, he was just too much for J.A. here tonight.  This semi-final match between Strong and Modi is going to be incredible.  Both men have looked fabulous here tonight!

Rico: Speaking of putting on a great show so far, The Jester and Kezzer Drix are ready to throw down!

Rico: Just when it looked like Kezzer Drix had him where he wanted him, The Jester turns things around on a dime and steals another win!  

Scotty:  This is exactly what I was saying, Rico.  You can't count anyone out of this thing.  With the belt on the line, these guys will do just about anything to have their hand raised at the end of the night!

Rico: Talk about guys that will do anything to win, up next we have Michael Diaz going head to head with Buck Highland.  Both men looked impressive in their first round matches.

Scotty:  Completely agree there, Rico.  This should be another fine display.

Rico: Diaz guts out another brutal victory.  This guy is absolutely on fire right now!

Scotty: We've counted The Jester out before, and you see where that has gotten us!  This semi-final match is going to be spectacular.

Scotty: From sixteen men, we've narrowed it down to just four!  One of these four men will become the IXW Champion here tonight!  I can feel the tension in the air here, Rico.

Rico: You can feel just how big this really is, Scotty.  This crowd is buzzing, and the matches just keep getting bigger!  

Scotty: Boston Strong and Thor Modi are set to throw down. Let's head back into the ring for more action, Rico!

Scotty: Back and forth. Back and forth.  These two men laid it all on the line, Rico!  What an incredible match up!

Rico: Scotty, Thorbjorn has stamped his ticket to the finals!  He's one win away from staking his claim to the IXW World Championship!  I can't believe that Strong has been eliminated!

Scotty: I tried to warn you about making predictions, Rico. all of these guys are too good to be counted out at any point!

Rico:  You're right, Scotty!  After that display though, you've gotta think that Modi is the new favorite, right? 

Scotty: I wouldn't go that far, Rico.  The Jester and Mike Diaz have both looked sharp so far.  Let's see what they have left!

Scotty: Here comes Alan Hinders, the general manager of IXW.  Let's see what he has in store for us!

Alan: IXW fans, thank you all for joining us here tonight for the Solace of Sovereignty!  As you are all aware, The Jester and Thorbjorn Modi will be out here in just a moment to determine the inaugural IXW Champion.  However, I am here to spice things up just a bit.  No championship tournament is complete without a little added drama for the final match, and I will not disappoint the fans of the IXW.  Live, here tonight, the champion will be crowned inside a steel cage!  The man that escapes will become the first ever IXW Champion!

Rico: A steel cage finale?!  Scotty, it doesn't get any bigger than this!

Scotty: These men have endured so much already to get to this point, and Mr. Hinders just raised the stakes!  How much do these Superstars have left in the tank?  Do either of them even have the stamina left to climb out of that steel death trap?

Rico: We're about to find out, Scotty!  This crowd is electric right now!  The whole arena is buzzing!

Rico: Thorbjorn Modi with a look of determination in his eye! He's a man on a mission, Scotty!  

Scotty: You can tell he means business, Rico... Strap in folks!  The cage is descending!  Here we go!
